Quality

Quality counts in todays supply chains

Upstream - Fast paced manufacturing and upstream warehousing processes invariably incorporate automated pallet handling and palletisation. These rely on a consistent pallet quality standard to avoid handling issues, pallet breakages and therefore expensive production downtime.

Retailing - In today’s downstream retailing supply-chain an increasing incidence of automated pallet handling drives reliance on the quality of pallet to avoid costly re-palletisation and sub optimal warehouse throughput.

Pallet quality failure increases supply chain costs and drives down product availability by adding rework time into a fast moving supply chain.

IPP Logipal and quality

Our approach to quality underpins our continued success.

At manufacture
It all starts with a quality pallet design consistently embodied in one pan European specification. We work closely with our own group factories and selected third parties that can consistently deliver a high-quality, machine-produced pallet. All production batches are sample audited to rigorously check that our specification is met. Only then are pallets released to customers.

At inspection before re-issue
Our depots individually inspect each pallet that we have collected against our quality standards. We audit the application of these standards during the inspection process to ensure that they are applied correctly and consistently. This includes repair work to any pallets as required to ensure complete compliance throughout the supply chain.
